Maintain a pool of licensed social workers who will provide social services and technical
assistance in case management, community organizing and other social work activities of various program components.
The social service staff shall establish strong linkages and utilization of mental health
disciplines, (clinical psychologist, and child psychiatrist) in the case management of
children with deep-seated emotional problems or pathologies.
Education both on formal and alternative learning system (ALS) modules shall be a major thrust and given optimum priority to enable the children with special learning needs increase their level of aspiration as they participate in various aspects of recovery, rehabilitation, and social transformation.
Family life enhancement and sessions on parenting shall be an integral component of all programs and services.
Reunification of CICL with their families shall be the ultimate consideration in discharge
planning of children admitted at the House for Youth when there is no more threat for
further re-victimization from all forms of abuse, neglect and exploitation.
Children with special needs and at-risks served in communities shall be trained to develop a healthy interaction with other social groups in the communities.
Strong networking and partnership with government GO’s and LGU’s, NGO’s and private
individuals and groups interested in the protection for the well-being of children shall be
maximized for efficient referral services, skills enhancement and resource generation and mobilization.
Confidentiality of records of children shall be adhered to strictly. Only the social service
staff, Executive Director, Board of Trustees and Courts shall have the right to have access these records.
Staff of the agency and Volunteers shall strictly uphold the Child Protection Policy of the
Organization.
The agency shall hire and utilize the services of local people in its Emergency Quick
Response Program during natural and human-induced disasters.
